Farmers are resuming work in the liberated regions of Ukraine, particularly in the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions. This is not without difficulty as some fields have been mined, and some bridges and roads have been destroyed. The most pressing issues for potato growers currently are logistics, delivery of fertilisers and fuel. Transport of fertilisers to their farms in the
Chernihiv region is impossible due to destroyed bridges. While the state is trying to help the agricultural sector, small farmers are mostly left to solve problems on their own.
