KwaZulu-Natal cultivar trial under irrigation [News, CHIPS]

“The KwaZulu-Natal production region produces about 5% of the South African potato crop. The region plants potatoes for seeds, table and processing market, under irrigation as well as on dryland. The main cultivars earmarked for the table and processing market include Mondial, Valor and Sifra in winter, and Valor, Mondial, Up-to-Date, Lanorma and Fianna in summer.”
