The Eastern Free State (EFS) is an extensive potato production region where roughly 22% of the country’s commercial potatoes are produced by 68 producers on approximately 11 703 ha. The most prominent cultivars produced for table and processing purposes in the EFS are Mondial, FL2108 and Lanorma. The trial was conducted near Eram, between Warden and Harrismith.
