During October and November 2024, a total of 12 potato producing regions as well as non-producing suppliers delivered potatoes nationally to fresh produce markets.

Average percentage downgraded: 6.14%.

Total number of bags delivered from 12 regions and non-producing suppliers and inspected at the fresh produce markets: 13 013 680

Others include: Skin eelworm, insect damage, soiled, rhizoctonia, broken and cut tubers, hollow heart, wilt, malformed,
wet by decayed tubers, brown fleck, sprouts, heat damage, watergrass damage (external), soiled decay, too big, dry
stem-end, collectively too big and small, vascular browning, glassiness/watery, foreign matter.
