Potatoes SA would like to encourage our farmers and their designated person responsible for their crop protection to register as Pest Control Operators to enable them to apply Crop Protection Products that are classified under Group 1.
To register as a Pest Control Operator the following documentation must be completed in English and submitted to DALRRD. This must include:
- Completed and sign document
- Include a sort summary of your experience in crop protection
- Your Agriculture related qualification. Please include the subjects
- Any Croplife courses completed
- A proof payment of R2809.00 to the DALRRD: Act 36 of 1947, Standard Bank Branch Acc. no 011203102 Ref 16PC 1 with your Name and Surname
- A copy of a medical certificate from a Medical Practitioner
