Since the Covid-19 pandemic stopped the annual research symposium in its tracks, it was decided to hold mini-symposiums in each production region to keep everyone up to date with the latest research projects. Not only does it create a unique opportunity to focus on region-specific challenges, but also gives those producers who cannot attend the annual research symposium the opportunity to interact and participate. PSA’s Research and Development core business had the privilege on 24 November 2021 to spend the day with producers from Ceres / Koue Bokkeveld in the Western Cape. The latest available information as well as current research projects have been highlighted and discussed.
